Shipping Responsibility And Insurance
Poke-Collect does not cover shipments that are lost, damaged or stolen in transit to us. Your shipment is your responsibility until we receive it.
- Use a tracked shipping service.
- Buy shipping insurance that fits the value of your shipment.
- Before you ship, check your carrier's or insurer's coverage, exclusions, packaging requirements, declared-value rules and claim process. Not every policy covers collectibles, and declaring a value doesn't automatically mean your shipment is insured.
- You're responsible for arranging coverage and for filing any carrier or insurance claim. Poke-Collect can't promise reimbursement or claim approval.
- You pay the cost of shipping your product to us.
HOW IT WORKS
1 - Build Your Sell List
Open the Sealed Buylist and search or browse by category. Each product shows our offer, and you can switch between Store Credit and PayPal to compare. Add the products and quantities you want to sell. Some products have a maximum quantity we can buy.
2 - Submit Your Sell List
Enter your name, email and payout method, then submit. You'll get a reference number on screen right away. Save it, because you'll need it to ship or drop off.
Choose your payout method carefully. If you choose PayPal, double-check your PayPal email so your payment goes to the right place.
3 - Mail In Or Drop Off
Mail-In: Pack your product using the Packing Guide below, put a note with your reference number inside the box, and ship it with tracking. We must receive your products no more than 14 days after approval to lock in your rates.
Drop-Off: Bring your product and reference number to Poke-Collect, 181 Hughes Road, Suite 5, Madison, AL 35758.
4 - Inspection
When your product arrives, our buylist team checks every item against your submission: the correct product and quantity, authenticity, factory seal and retail condition. If anything doesn't match or doesn't meet our standards, we'll contact you with a revised offer before your submission is finalized.
5 - Get Paid
Once your product has been received and verified, we pay you with the method you chose:
- Store Credit
- PayPal, with a 3% fee deducted from your payout
Sealed Condition Standards
To be bought as an intact sealed item, every product must be:
- Authentic and factory sealed, in its original manufacturer packaging
- Ready for retail sale, with packaging and seals free of tears, rips, dings, dents and other damage
Sealed doesn't always mean retail-ready. A product can still be sealed and not meet our condition standards. Examples we can't accept as intact sealed product:
- Torn, split or loose shrink wrap
- Crushed or bent corners
- Dented, creased or warped boxes
- Ripped, punctured or scuffed-through packaging
- Water damage, stains, stickers, tape or adhesive residue on the product
- Strong odors such as smoke
Retail Packaging Vs. Shipping Carton: We judge the product's own retail packaging, such as the booster box, the Elite Trainer Box or the shrink wrap. The outer shipping carton you pack it in isn't graded, but damage to that carton often means the product inside was damaged too. Original manufacturer cases are part of the product, so ship them inside a separate outer shipping carton to protect their condition.
Damaged Product And Pack Breakdown
Products that don't meet our intact sealed standards may, when applicable, be evaluated for the individual booster packs inside. Not every damaged product qualifies.
- An adjusted offer may be calculated as a percentage of our applicable per-pack buy rate, based on the number of eligible packs and their condition.
- We'll email you the revised offer with photos, the number of eligible packs, the per-pack rate and the percentage used.
- We won't open or break down your product until you accept the revised offer. If you decline, you can have the product returned at your shipping cost.
Please don't open any product before shipping unless Poke-Collect asks you to. Opened product can't be bought as sealed.
How To Pack Sealed Product
- Sturdy Box: Use a sturdy corrugated shipping box sized for the weight of your shipment. Don't use mailers or envelopes for boxed product.
- No Tape On Product: Never put tape, labels or stickers directly on retail packaging or factory seals. Wrap each item in bubble wrap or a plastic bag first.
- Separate Items: Keep products apart with cushioning or cardboard so they can't rub against or crush each other.
- Cushion Every Side: Pad the top, bottom and all sides, and fill empty space so nothing moves when you shake the box.
- Heavy On The Bottom: Place heavier items below lighter or more fragile items.
- Keep It Dry: Bag products in plastic to protect against moisture.
- Don't Overpack: A bulging carton puts pressure on the product. Use a larger box instead.
- Manufacturer Cases: Ship original cases inside an outer shipping carton with cushioning so the case itself stays in collectible condition.
- Reference Number: Include a note with your reference number inside the box.
- Take Photos: Photograph your product's condition and the packed shipment before you seal the carton.
- Keep Records: Keep your tracking number, shipping receipt and any insurance documents.
Good packaging lowers the risk of damage, but no packaging guarantees safe delivery.
Payouts
Choose your payout method when you submit. Offers vary by product and are shown on the Sealed Buylist, and Store Credit offers are always higher than cash. Available methods:
- Store Credit
- PayPal, with a 3% fee deducted from your payout
Example: An approved $100 PayPal payout has a $3 fee, so you receive $97.
Payouts can't be split between Store Credit and PayPal. If you'd like part of your product paid each way, submit two separate sell lists. To change your payout method, email us as soon as you can. We can't change it after you've been paid.
