Collection: Vault Market Terms

These terms cover Vault Market, where Poke-Collect customers trade and sell the cards in their Poke-Collect vault with each other. By trading, selling or buying in Vault Market you agree to them.

1. What Vault Market Is

Vault Market lets Poke-Collect customers trade the cards in their Poke-Collect vault with each other, and sell those cards to each other through Poke-Collect on consignment. Every trade and sale is between customers. Poke-Collect never buys cards from customers through Vault Market, and Vault Market is not a buyback program.

Cards stay in Poke-Collect's physical custody the whole time. A trade or sale changes which customer owns a vault card; the card ships only when its owner ships their vault under the normal vault shipping terms.

Poke-Collect is responsible for vaulted cards while they are in its care. If a vaulted card is lost or damaged, Poke-Collect will, at its choice, refund the card at its sale price or replace it with a card of equal value.

2. Who Can Use It

You need a Poke-Collect customer account and must be at least 18 years old. Poke-Collect may limit Vault Market to some customers, for example during a soft launch, and may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

3. Trade Names

You choose a public trade name before you trade, buy or sell. Other customers see your trade name, never your real name, email or address. Trade names can't impersonate Poke-Collect or anyone else, and Poke-Collect may change or remove a trade name that breaks these terms.

You may choose to show your whole vault to other customers ("Share My Whole Binder"). If you don't, other customers only see cards you put up for trade or sale.

4. Trading

A trade is a card-for-card swap between two customers' vaults. No money changes hands and Poke-Collect charges no fee for trades.

• You send an offer of your cards for another customer's cards. Offers can carry a short note chosen from a fixed list; there is no free-text messaging.
• An offer stays open for 7 days. You can cancel it until it is accepted.
• When the other customer accepts, ownership of every card in the offer changes at once.

5. Holds And Finality

• A card can be traded or sold as soon as it is in your vault.
• Cards being shipped, being paid for by a buyer, or under review can't be traded or sold.
• Accepted trades and completed sales are final. Poke-Collect may reverse a trade or sale only to fix an error, fraud, a refund or chargeback, or a breach of these terms (see section 10).

6. Selling On Consignment

When you list a vault card for sale, you consign it to Poke-Collect. Poke-Collect sells the card on your behalf to another customer at the price you set, and pays you the proceeds as Vault Credit. You keep ownership of the card until it sells.

• You set the price. Poke-Collect does not set or guarantee the value of any card. Prices are $1 to $5,000.
• Poke-Collect is the seller of record. The buyer pays Poke-Collect, and Poke-Collect collects any sales tax due on the sale.
• Commission. Poke-Collect keeps a 10% consignment commission. You receive 90% of the sale price as Vault Credit. The commission is the same for every card and is shown before you list.
• When you're paid. Your Vault Credit is added as soon as the buyer's payment goes through.
• Refunds and chargebacks. If a buyer's payment is refunded or charged back after you are paid, Poke-Collect may reverse the sale, return the card to your vault and deduct the Vault Credit you received. This can take your balance below zero until it is repaid from your future sales.
• You can change your price or stop selling until a buyer starts checking out. Shipping your vault withdraws your listings.

7. Vault Credit

Vault Credit is a balance Poke-Collect keeps for you inside Vault Market. It is not Shopify store credit, a gift card or money.

• No cash value. Vault Credit can't be redeemed, withdrawn or transferred for cash, and can't be moved to another customer.
• It can never buy Mystery Packs or any other digital mystery product.
• Where you can use it: to buy other customers' cards in Vault Market, or as a Vault Credit code on Poke-Collect products other than Mystery Packs. Poke-Collect chooses which products are eligible.
• Vault Credit codes are one-time codes tied to your account, valid for 30 days. If your order uses less than the code's amount, or the code expires or you return it unused, the rest goes back to your balance. If an order paid with a code is cancelled, the amount it covered goes back to your balance.
• Codes may not combine with other promotions unless Poke-Collect says they do.

8. No Buybacks, No Card Values

Poke-Collect does not buy back cards pulled from Mystery Packs. Prices on Vault Market are set by the customers selling. The Price Guide shown while you set a price is an estimate based on outside market data, such as TCGplayer market prices. It is not a guarantee of value, and you choose your own price. Cards are collectibles, not investments.

9. Your Conduct

You agree not to arrange payments or trades outside Vault Market, use more than one account to trade with yourself, manipulate prices, harass other customers, or try to get around holds or limits. Poke-Collect may cancel offers or listings and suspend accounts that do.

10. Reversals And Reviews

Poke-Collect may reverse a trade or sale, hold a payout, or adjust a Vault Credit balance to correct an error, respond to a refund or chargeback, stop fraud, or enforce these terms. When a sale is reversed, the card goes back to the seller, any Vault Credit the seller received is taken back, and the buyer is refunded the way they paid.

11. Shipping

Cards bought or received on Vault Market ship under the normal vault shipping terms, along with the rest of your vault.

12. Changes And Ending Vault Market

Poke-Collect may change these terms, the commission, the hold periods or the eligible products, or close Vault Market, with notice on this page. If Vault Market closes, your cards stay in your vault and your Vault Credit stays usable on eligible products.

If Poke-Collect closes your Vault Market access, your open offers and listings are cancelled, your cards ship to you under the vault shipping terms, and any remaining Vault Credit stays usable on eligible products.
